Product Overview:

TubeDerm Cream is a multifaceted medication formulated to address various skin infections effectively. It alleviates symptoms associated with inflammation, such as redness, swelling, and itching, by combating the underlying microbial infections responsible for the condition.

Designed exclusively for external application, TubeDerm Cream should be utilized in accordance with the guidance provided by your healthcare professional. Applying a thin layer of the cream solely to the affected skin areas with clean, dry hands is recommended. Prior to and following application, it's essential to cleanse your hands thoroughly. In case of accidental contact with eyes, nose, mouth, or vaginal areas, rinsing with water is advised. While improvement in symptoms may take several days to weeks, consistent application is essential for optimal efficacy. Completing the prescribed course of treatment is crucial to ensure comprehensive recovery. Should your condition fail to improve or worsen, consulting your healthcare provider is imperative.

Although generally considered safe, TubeDerm Cream may induce mild and transient side effects such as burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. Serious adverse reactions are rare; however, any signs of allergic responses like rashes, swelling, itching, or breathing difficulties should prompt immediate medical attention.

Before initiating treatment with TubeDerm Cream, it's vital to inform your healthcare provider about any concurrent or recent medication use, whether for the same ailment or others. Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should exercise caution and seek professional advice before use. Those with known allergies to the components of the cream should refrain from its usage and consult with their healthcare provider accordingly. Additionally, during the treatment period, avoidance of touching or scratching the affected skin areas is recommended to prevent exacerbation or spread of the infection.

Indications and Benefits:

Indications:

  • Treatment of Skin Infections

Benefits:

  • TubeDerm Cream is a combination medication designed to combat skin infections caused by various microorganisms including bacteria and fungi. By effectively eradicating these pathogens, it alleviates symptoms such as itching, redness, and swelling. Moreover, it inhibits the release of inflammatory chemicals, thus offering relief from associated discomfort.

Continuous adherence to the prescribed regimen is essential even if symptoms abate, as discontinuation may lead to recurrence. Depending on the nature of the infection being treated, prolonged usage may be necessary. Even post-recovery, periodic application may be warranted to forestall symptom resurgence.

Side Effects:

While most side effects are transient and typically resolve as the body adjusts to the medication, consultation with a healthcare professional is recommended if they persist or cause concern.

Common Side Effects:

  • Thinning of skin

  • Application site reactions (burning, irritation, itching, and redness)

Administration Guidelines:

TubeDerm Cream is intended solely for external use. Adherence to the prescribed dosage and duration is paramount for optimal outcomes. Prior to use, carefully review the instructions provided on the label. Ensure the affected area is clean and dry before application. Post-application hand hygiene is advised unless the hands themselves are the affected area.

Mechanism of Action:

TubeDerm Cream comprises a blend of five active ingredients: Clobetasol, Neomycin Sulphate, Iodochlorhydroxyquinolineoline, Ketoconazole, and Tolnaftate. Each component exerts its therapeutic effects synergistically:

  • Clobetasol, a steroid, mitigates inflammation by inhibiting the production of certain inflammatory mediators responsible for skin redness, swelling, and itching.

  • Neomycin Sulphate, an antibiotic, combats bacterial infections by impeding the synthesis of essential proteins vital for bacterial survival.

  • Ketoconazole, Iodochlorhydroxyquinolineoline, and Tolnaftate, antifungal agents, work collectively to eradicate fungal infections. Ketoconazole disrupts fungal cell membranes, arresting growth and facilitating eradication. Iodochlorhydroxyquinolineoline targets DNA synthesis in fungi, leading to their demise. Tolnaftate impedes fungal cell-wall formation and colony proliferation, thereby effecting fungal eradication and resolving the infection.
